Terms and conditions of stay

The owners of the Ułańska Zagroda would appreciate your co-operation in abiding by the rules and regulations, which are designed to ensure a peaceful and safe stay for our guests.

Terms and conditions of stay

§ 1 Subject matter

  1. The regulations apply to all persons staying at Ułańska Zagroda in Załom 15, 78-630 Człopa.
  2. The regulations define the rules for providing services, the scope of responsibility of Guests and the center, and the rules for staying at the Ułańska Zagroda resort.
  3. The regulations are available at the Ułańska Zagroda reception, in the rooms and on the ulanska.pl website.
  4. Confirmation of having read the regulations occurs at the time of making a reservation, paying a deposit, paying the full amount for the stay, or signing the registration card.

§ 2 Check-in time

  1. The hotel room is rented for hotel nights.
  2. Check-in time is from 2:00 pm to 12:00 pm the following day.
  3. The room may not be transferred or made available to third parties, even if the period for which the fee has been paid has not expired.
  4. The hotel day can be extended up to 5:00 PM at the latest.
  5. A request to extend the hotel day should be reported to the reception.
  6. The center will consider the wish to extend the stay subject to availability.
  7. Meals, excluding turnouts, are served during the hours:
    a. breakfast 10:00 am – 11:00 am,
    b. lunch 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm,
    c. dinner 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm.
  8. The hotel has a curfew from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

§ 3 Reservations

  1. Reservations can be made through:
    a. the reservation form available on the website ulanska.pl,
    b. by email at the provided address: rezerwacje@ulanskazagroda-dieta.pl
    c. by phone at +48 663 518 625 or +48 666 612 594,
    d. in person at the Resort’s Reception.
  2. The reservation is confirmed after payment of a deposit amounting to 30% of the stay’s value within 48 hours of making the reservation.
  3. If the deposit is not paid within the aforementioned period, the reservation will be canceled.
  4. The paid deposit is non-refundable. It is possible to use the paid deposit as a payment for a stay at another date in case of reservation cancellation.

§ 4 Check-in

  1. In the case of arrival at the Resort and check-in after 9:00 PM, Ułańska Zagroda charges an additional one-time fee of 150 PLN.
  2. A photo ID must be presented to the reception staff to register the Guest. Ułańska Zagroda informs that the Guests’ identity documents are not photocopied or scanned.
  3. Upon check-in, the Guest settles the payment for the stay.
  4. During check-in, the Guest receives a room key or hotel card.
  5. In case of loss or damage to the card, the Guest should report this immediately to the Reception of the Resort. Issuance of a new hotel card occurs after payment of 50 PLN. The Guest will be charged the same amount if the card is not returned after the end of the stay
  6. The Resort may refuse to accept a Guest who during a previous stay grossly violated the Regulations, in particular by causing damage to the property of the resort or the property of Guests, harm to the Guest, employees of the Resort, or other persons staying at the Resort.
  7. The Resort may refuse to accept a Guest under the influence of alcohol, intoxicants, or showing verbal or physical aggression.
  8. If the Guest resigns from the stay during the hotel day, the Resort does not refund the fee for that hotel day.

§ 5 Services

  1. If there are reservations about the quality of services, the Guest is asked to immediately report them to the Reception, which will enable the staff to improve the standard of services provided.
  2. Additionally, at the Guest’s request, the Resort provides the following services free of charge:
    a. providing information related to the stay and travel,
    b. The storage of money and valuables in the hotel deposit during the Guest’s stay at the Resort subject to § 8 par. 2 of the Regulations,
    c. Storage of the Guest’s luggage.
  3. Upon the Guest’s request, the Resort provides paid transport (e.g., to the station). The intention to use the transport should be reported the day before at the Reception of the Resort.

§ 6 Health holidays

  1. The Health holidays is 7 or 14 days from Friday to Friday.
  2. The Health holidays begins with check-in at reception, starting at approx. 16:30. It ends with breakfast at hrs. 9:00
  3. Meals are served at strict hours:
    a. breakfast 9 am,
    b. Lunch 1:30 pm,
    c. dinner 5.30 pm.
  4. By paying the fee for the stay, the Guest acknowledges and accepts these regulations and the clause:
    “The organiser, all persons cooperating with the organiser, employees of the Centre, as well as persons connected with the conduct and organisation of health holidays are not liable to participants for personal, material and property damage that occurs during or after the health holiday.”
  5. Participants in the turnout are liable civilly and legally for all damage they cause. By accepting this declaration, participants waive their right to legal or recourse claims against the Organiser or persons and entities cooperating with it in the event of an accident or damage related to their stay in the Centre, participation in sports exercises, treatments, staying in the sauna and during a massage.
  6. On the last day of the holiday, you must leave your room by 9:00 am.
  7. Those who plan an earlier departure are asked to report this fact the day before at the reception.
  8. In case of an earlier departure or later arrival at the Resort, the Organizer does not refund the fee for the stay.
  9. Before leaving the Resort, the participant of the stay is obliged to report to the reception to check out, settle the stay and treatments, and return the key/card.
  10. Any changes regarding the diet and food intolerances should be reported at the Reception.
  11. Cleaning, changing bed linen, and towels are provided free of charge to participants of a two-week stay and take place on Fridays. Additional cleaning is chargeable and amounts to:
    a. for cleaning – 30 PLN,
    b. for a change of bed linen and towels – 15 PLN.
  12. The participant of the stay acknowledges that in case of an accident, they will not make any claims against the Organizer.
  13. The participant of the stay acknowledges that they must strictly follow the instructions of the instructor, trainer.
  14. In the case of participation in the stay by minors under 18 years of age, the consent of a parent or legal guardian is required, by submitting a signed declaration.
  15. The participant of the stay is obliged to comply with fire safety regulations, house rules including the ban on smoking tobacco in rooms and throughout the Resort, and the prohibition of animals entering the Resort.
  16. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel classes, lectures, training sessions, meetings included in the Stay Program. The Stay Program is subject to change. Any changes to the stay program will be posted on the bulletin board.

§ 7 Animals

  1. Ułańska Zagroda does not accept the stay of animals. 
  1. The fundamental condition for accepting an animal under our roof is the notification of the Guest’s arrival with an animal at the time of booking. This is a necessity due to the limited number of rooms designated for animals.
  2. Only domestic animals may stay at the Ułańska Zagroda Resort. Ułańska Zagroda particularly reserves the right to refuse the acceptance of animals commonly considered dangerous or aggressive, including reptiles, arachnids, and dogs of breeds: American Pit Bull Terrier, Dogo Mallorquin, American Bulldog, Dogo Argentino, Canary Dog, Tosa, Rottweiler, Akbash Dog, Anatolian Karabash, Moscow Watchdog, Caucasian Shepherd (Regulation of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of April 28, 2003, on the list of dog breeds considered aggressive).
  3. If the presence of animals accompanying the Guests is not pre-notified, the Resort may not provide a free room or consent to the animal’s stay.
  4. In the absence of notification of the stay with an animal, the Resort may refuse accommodation and refund the deposit.
  5. The stay of an animal is conditional upon having its health book with current vaccinations and deworming certification.
  6. For safety, the animal should have a leash, collar, muzzle, cage – depending on the species of the animal.
  7. Animals may stay in designated areas within the Resort, but particularly the entry of animals into the dining room, fitness room, playground, massage room, and sauna is prohibited.
  8. For not informing about having an animal in the room, Ułańska Zagroda reserves the right to impose a penalty of 300 PLN.
  9. The fee for the animal’s stay is 50 PLN per day.
  10. Animals staying on the Resort’s premises must not disturb other Guests. Please make sure that your pet does not make noise, especially at night.
  11. In the case of repeated complaints from other Guests, we reserve the right to remove the animal from the facility.
  12. If the Resort’s staff have reasonable suspicions that an animal left in the room is disturbing the stay of other guests, damaging the property of the Resort, or may cause a dangerous situation for itself or other guests, the Resort’s Management will try to contact the owner to resolve the problem. If contact is not possible, the Resort reserves the right to allow staff to enter the guest’s room also with the possible assistance of relevant services and remove the animal from the Resort. All costs resulting from the above actions are covered by the animal’s owner.
  13. The animal’s owner is responsible for cleaning up after it – in the room, public areas, and the surrounding area of the Resort. Please clean up after your pet.
  14. It is forbidden to allow dogs on carpets, beds, and sofas in the Resort. The animal’s owner is obliged to secure furniture and textiles against destruction and leaving fur.
  15. Animals may use designated spaces within the Resort, as well as outside.
  16. Dog owners are obliged to clean up after their pets on the premises and surroundings of the Ułańska Zagroda Resort.
  17. Owners are required to have their own bedding for the animal. Cat owners must have a litter box with sand and empty it into a plastic bag, which they will then dispose of in a container indicated by the Resort’s employee.
  18. Cleaning the room in which the animal stays is carried out only in the presence of the owner. Please contact reception to arrange cleaning hours.
  19. All damages to the property of Ułańska Zagroda Resort or the property of other guests caused by animals will be appraised by the Management of Ułańska Zagroda Resort, and the owners of the animals will bear the costs.
  20. The owner of the animal declares that they have read and accept the regulations for the stay of animals at the Ułańska Zagroda Resort.

§ 8 Hotel's Liability

  1. Ułańska Zagroda is only responsible for items deposited in the hotel’s safe. In other cases related to the loss or damage of items brought in by Guests, the provisions of the civil code apply
  2. Ułańska Zagroda reserves the right to refuse acceptance of valuables, significant amounts of money, items that threaten safety, and large-sized items that cannot be placed in the safe, to the hotel safe.
  3. Ułańska Zagroda is not responsible for damage to or loss of a car or other vehicle belonging to a Guest that has been parked on an unguarded, monitored parking lot. The Resort is also not responsible for items left in a car parked on the Resort’s parking lot.
  4. Ułańska Zagroda Resort is not liable for any damage or harm to the health of the Guest’s animal.

§ 9 Guest's Liability

  1. Children under the age of 12 should be under the constant supervision of legal guardians while on the Resort’s premises. Legal guardians are liable for any damage caused by the actions of children.
  2. The behavior of Guests and those using the Resort’s services should not disturb the peace of other guests. If this rule is violated, Ułańska Zagroda may refuse further services to the individual. Such a person is obliged to immediately comply with the demands of the Resort, settle any amounts due for services already provided, pay for any damages, and leave the Resort.
  3. For safety reasons, each time a Guest leaves the room, they should turn off the television, lights, taps, and lock the door.
  4. Smoking in the rooms is prohibited. In case of non-compliance with this ban, a penalty fee of 500 PLN will be charged per person.
  5. n Ułańska Zagroda, staying with animals is prohibited. In case of non-compliance with this ban, a penalty fee of 500 PLN will be charged per person, plus an additional 50 PLN for each day of stay.
  6. For fire safety reasons, the use of devices that are not part of the room’s equipment is prohibited, except for chargers and power supplies for electronic equipment.
  7. The  Guest is fully liable for anydamage or destruction to the Resort’s equipment and technical facilities caused by themselves or people visiting them.
  8. Reception should be notified immediately of any damages incurred at the hotel.
  9. Please consult with the hotel staff before rearranging the room’s furniture.

§ 10 Left Items

  1. Personal items left in the room by a departing Guest will be sent to the address provided by the Guest at their expense.
  2. If the Resort does not receive instructions from the Guest to send back the left items, the Resort will store these items for a period of one month, after which these items will become the property of Ułańska Zagroda. Food items will be stored for 24 hours.

§ 11 Complaints

  1. Guests have the right to lodge complaints if they notice deficiencies in the quality of services provided. A complaint should be lodged as soon as the shortcomings are noticed.
  2. All complaints in writing are accepted by the reception of the Ułańska Zagroda .
  3. The complaint will be dealt with as soon as it is received by the hotel; in the event of disputes, the Civil Law Code will apply.

§ 12 Additional provisions

  1. The Ułańska Zagroda Centre is home to dogs and horses.
  2. Canvassing and door-to-door sales are prohibited at the hotel.
